The news, first reported by Eersports, comes after months of uncertainty surrounding Robinson’s eligibility, comes at critical moment for the Mountaineers as they prepare for one of the most storied rivalries in college football.

Robinson, the 2024 American Athletic Conference (AAC) Defensive Player of the Year and a former JUCO All-American, transferred to WVU from UTSA with high expectations. His collegiate resume boasts 110 tackles, 30 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, six pass breakups, and three forced fumbles across 43 games, including 13 starts with the Roadrunners.
