West Virginia Mountaineers Bolster Roster with Transfer Additions During Fall Camp 2025

As fall camp intensifies under the West Virginia football program, the Mountaineers are building depth with the addition of two impactful transfer players, defensive lineman Olu Omotosho and linebacker Caleb Nuhi-Yandall.

The arrival of Omotosho and Nuhi-Yandall comes at a critical time as the Mountaineers look to build depth and bolster their defensive lineup.

  • Olu Omotosho, a 6-foot-2 defensive lineman coming from Oregon State, adds a veteran presence to the WVU defensive front. Despite battling injuries last season, Omotosho played in nine games, recording 14 tackles, one sack, and six quarterback hurries. His best year came in 2022 at Wyoming, where he notched 46 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 10 quarterback hurries.
  • Caleb Nuhi-Yandall, a 6-foot, 240-pound linebacker transferring from Cerritos College, earned First Team All-Conference honors in 2023. His stat line from last season includes 52 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, an interception, and three pass breakups. A former Marine League Player of the Year at Banning High School in California, Nuhi-Yandall racked up an impressive 114 tackles and four interceptions during his senior year. He has one season of elibibilty remaining.
