Former West Virginia quarterback Garrett Greene is making a name for himself in the NFL – as a wide receiver.
It’s a surprising twist of career trajectory for Greene, a quarterback who has transitioned to the wide receiver position with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and his performance during the 2025 training camp has been nothing short of remarkable.
The 23-year-old, who signed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in May, has quickly adapted to his new role, making several highlight reel catches during his short time with the Buccaneers.
During his career at West Virginia, Greene threw for 5,370 yards and 36 touchdowns while also rushing for 2,136 yards and 28 scores over 45 games.
