West Virginia has secured an official visit from one of the nation’s top prospects, Aliou Dioum, a 6-foot-10, 4-star center in the class of 2026.
The highly touted recruit, known for his versatility, high motor, and defensive prowess, is scheduled to visit Morgantown on August 30th, just after a visit to UNLV (8/24) and before a trip to Mississippi State (9/14).
Dioum, who plays for Bella Vista Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) — but who is originally from Senegal —, received an offer from West Virginia in late July. He has a wide-range of offers from programs like Syracuse, Wake Forest, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Mississippi State, among others.
Dioum is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports composite with a 0.9381 overall rating. He is considered the 145th best prospect overall in the 2026 class and the 20th best center in the country. He is also rated the 10th best prospect in the state of Arizona.
