Former West Virginia wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton suffered a non-contact injury at the New York Giants training camp on Sunday. The injury is being described as “major” per reporters on site.
Ford-Wheaton was participating in special teams drills when he went down in pain. According to reports, he attempted to get up and walk off the injury but immediately fell to the ground. The cart was was eventually called out.
Ford-Wheaton missed all of the 2023 NFL season due to a torn ACL. He appeared in 14 games for the Giants last season, mostly on special teams.
