According to a report, Owen Puk, who committed to WVU, will forgo his last collegiate season and sign with the Washington Nationals.
The Nationals selected Puk in the 18th round (pick 531) of the 2025 MLB Draft. According to Spotrac that signing bonus slot is $150,000. That does not mean Puk will sign for the full slotted amount.
I did believe Puk, since he was drafted so late, would stay committed to WVU and return for his senior season, but it appears he is ready to trust and bet on himself at the pro level.
