I promised myself that I wouldn’t do anymore writing today unless news broke around WVU football or any other sporting news for WVU.
Well, that just happens to be the case at late on Friday evening WVU landed running back Christopher Talley from Memphis, TN.
Talley, who is rated as a three-star running back from Rivals and 247Sports holds offers from Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Memphis, Tulsa, Liberty, Connecticut, and Southern Mississippi among many other programs.
Talley announced the decision on Instagram.
Talley was officially offered by the Mountaineers coaching staff on March 24, and then he visited with WVU from June 13-15.
Talley is now the 23rd commit for the Mountaineers in the 2026 class and is the second running back to commit to the program.
