Steve Sabins and his staff have been on a roll lately when it comes to adding key additions from the transfer portal.
On Wednesday, Ian Korn and Dawson Montesa were named the Top 10 pitchers with the lowest ERA in DII in 2025. Both have committed to and signed with West Virginia.
Here is a look at the players who have committed to West Virginia’s baseball program:

According to 64Analytics, West Virginia is ranked No. 17 in the transfer portal ranks. This also tabs West Virginia as the third best Big 12 team in the portal ranks behind Arizona State (No. 8) and Kansas State (No. 15).
Even with 12 commitments out of the portal for West Virginia, expect Sabins and his staff to at least make a couple more moves out of the portal to strengthen the Mountaineers offense and pitching staff.
