West Virginia has added left-handed pitcher Andrew Middleton, a transfer from UMass out of the transfer portal.
Despite a season cut short by injury, he posted an impeccable 0.00 ERA over 11.2 innings, striking out 29 batters and allowing just one hit in four appearances last year.
During his freshman season in 2024, Middleton started three games and made a total of 14 appearances. He finished the year with a 4.63 ERA. He struck out 25 batters in 23.1 innings of work.
He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
