West Virginia has received a commitment from Burlington (Mass.) 2026 wide receiver Charlie Hanafin.
Hanafin, 6-foot-2, 184-pounds, pledged his commitment to the Mountaineers over offers from Boston College, Brown, Penn, UMass, and Yale, among others.
He announced his decision on social media.
The Dexter Southfield standout turned heads at a recent summer camp in Morgantown, earning himself a scholarship offer. His impressive showing not only put himself on the Mountaineers’ radar, but ultimately led to an official visit a few weeks later. It was then where Hanafin decided to shutdown his recruitment.
