As we inch closer to the start of the 2025 college football season, prognosticators have begun to cast their predictions for the upcoming season.
One of the more eye-catching projections comes from Kelley Ford, who released a detailed breakdown of their anticipated Big 12 standings.
Their projection paints a grim picture for West Virginia, placing them dead last in the conference with a mere 2.9 projected wins.
It should be noted; this isn’t the first publication to forecast a tough season ahead for Rich Rodriguez and the Mountaineers. Earlier this month, renowned college football expert Phil Steele placed WVU at the bottom of the Big 12 in his annual preseason analysis.
