The West Virginia Mountaineers football program is experiencing a surge of momentum on the recruiting trail, securing a flurry of recent commitments for the 2026 recruiting class.

The Mountaineer coaching staff has now set their sights on another high-profile prospect in Westerville (Oh.) offensive lineman D’Nilyeon Taylor.

Taylor, 6-foot-5, 295-pounds, has released his final four schools – Buffalo, Eastern Michigan,, South Florida and West Virginia. He has set a decision date for June 21.

Taylor received his offer from West Virginia this past April following his visit to campus for the Gold-Blue Showcase, an experience that initially sparked his interest in the program.
