Electronic Arts is releasing a college football video game for the second straight year, and West Virginia fans are going to notice something right away.
The Mountaineers’ head football coach, Rich Rodriguez, will officially be in the game, according to West Virginia Football’s X account.

Rodriguez is the only coach on the West Virginia staff who will be featured in the game, as Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator Zac Alley will not be directly included in the game’s July 10, 2025, release.
Some college coaches planned to be in the game; however, Colorado’s Deion Sanders and North Carolina’s Bill Belichick will not be available in the game.
