MORGANTOWN, W.Va—The Mountaineers have been busy this weekend getting new commitments from the transfer portal. West Virginia now has a commitment from former Missouri edge rusher Eddie Kelly Jr.
Kelly, whose height and weight are listed at 6 feet 5 inches and 277 pounds, recorded 20 tackles and a sack in his 13 games with the Tigers, who finished with a 10-3 record last season.
The former SEC defender was a three-star prospect coming out of high school, according to 247Sports.
Multiple schools, including Kansas and Virginia Tech, offered Kelly, but he decided to call Morgantown his home.
Rich Rodriguez adds some height to his defensive line as he reshapes his roster for the 2025 season.
