West Virginia’s head baseball coach announced on Thursday that Chansen Cole will toe the rubber in game one of the Morgantown Super Regional against Cal Poly.
Cole started in game one for the Mountaineers in the Regional against Binghamton where he struck out 10 batters while allowing four hits and one run over six full innings.
He then worked 1.2 innings against Kentucky where he struck out two over that span.
On the year Cole has 95 strikeouts over 87.2 innings of work while allowing 32 runs on 67 hits. He is 9-1 with a 2.87 ERA.
