Morgantown, WV – Earlier this evening, the WVU Football program landed another defensive commitment in the 2027 class. Zai’Vion Meads, a defensive lineman out of Louisville, Kentucky, committed to WVU via X.

Meads holds a three-star rating from 247Sports. He has garnered attention from many Power Four programs; including Purdue, Nebraska, Missouri, Kentucky, and Baylor.
Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 280-pounds, the Atherton High School product has the physique to be a force in the Big 12 Conference.
