When Fans Can Expect Renovations to Be Done At Milan Puskar Stadium

Morgantown, WV – On Tuesday, WVU athletics director Wren Baker spoke to the media regarding many topics surrounding the programs. One topic Baker addressed, which has been public knowledge for months, was the press box renovations which will be taking place at Milan Puskar Stadium. While the exact details weren’t discussed at length, fans were provided with an expected completion date.

According to Baker, the press box renovation project will likely be complete in time for the 2028 football season. Demolition on the current press box will take place following the conclusion of the 2026 football season. Though this will not be a sight to behold for fans during the 2027 season, Baker did seem enthusiastic about seating arrangements for the 2027 season.

With finances driving collegiate athletics, Baker has floated around ideas of new premium seating at Milan Puskar Stadium in the near future. The renovation, which will ultimately reduce the number of club level seating, will give the Mountaineer Athletics department the opportunity to place premium seating concepts on a trial run. The exact area as to where these premium seats will be is not yet known.

Baker discussed many other topics during his hour-long conference with the media.
