The No. 12 ranked West Virginia Mountaineers and the Cincinnati Bearcats are in a deadlock tie at 5 in the bottom of the 12 inning.
The game was pushed back on Friday night due to potential rain in the forecast.
However, the game went to extra innings and a few rain drops started to come down and then a down pour happened in the 12th frame while the Bearcats were batting in their half of the 12th frame.
The game will resume with the Bearcats up to bat with one out and a full count.
Ian Korn, who made his first start for WVU, went right around five innings pitched where he struck out five batters.
Cincinnati’s Charlie Niehaus will be at the plate to start the resumption of the game. The original game for Saturday will start shortly after game one is completed.
