Morgantown, WV – Earlier this afternoon, the WVU Women’s Basketball program added an elite player via the NCAA Transfer Portal. Per the team’s official X account, Marquette transfer Skylar Forbes has signed with the Mountaineers.
Forbes, a 6’3” forward, has made 91 appearances for the Golden Eagles over the last three years. She cemented herself as a prominent contributor for Marquette over the last two seasons. During Forbes’s junior campaign in the 2025-26 season, she averaged 15.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
The WVU Women’s Basketball team is expected to sign more transfers in the coming days.
