MORGANTOWN, W.Va.- Hope Coliseum will be rocking a little longer this spring. The West Virginia University women’s basketball team secured a top-16 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will be hosting the first two rounds.

Exact dates and times will be revealed tomorrow during the selection show at 8 p.m on ESPN, when the entire field of 68 is finalized.

This will mark the first time since 1992 that the tournament has been in Morgantown. WVU was the No. 4 seed and beat Clemson to advance to the Sweet 16 for the only time in program history.

The Mountaineers secured the right to host after defeating TCU last Sunday for the Big 12 Championship. The dates for the first round are March 20 through the 23.
