WVU Baseball Releases Broadcast Schedule

The West Virginia Mountaineers baseball program has released its 2026 broadcast schedule ahead of its season open on Friday against Georgia Southern.

51 of the 54 total games will be nationally broadcasted. Per the WVU baseball release, the baseball season will feature 25 home games and 26 road games broadcast on ESPN+ as well as one game on ESPN2 and another on Big Ten Network Plus.

West Virginia starts its season on a six-game road trip. A three-game series against Georgia Southern on Feb. 13-15 then another three-game weekend series against Liberty on Feb. 20-22.

Per the press release, the Mountaineers’ home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24, against Canisius.

WVU’s home schedule features Big 12 opponents BYU, UCF, Kansas State, Houston, and TCU, in addition to non-conference opponents Pitt, Penn State, Marshall, Radford, Columbia, and Maryland.
