Deuce McDuffie, a highly regarded four-star prospect in the class of 2027, has received an offer from West Virginia.
The 6’7″ wing from Nicolet High School in Glendale, Wisconsin (near Milwaukee), shared the news via X (formerly Twitter), posting:
“After a great conversation with Coach Yusuf Ali I’m greatful to receive a Division 1 offer from West Virginia University #big12 #wvuhoops.”
McDuffie, who plays primarily as a point guard/shooting guard but projects as a versatile small forward at the next level, has seen his recruitment accelerate rapidly. Currently ranked No. 106 nationally in the 2027 class by the 247Sports Composite (with a 0.9565 rating, placing him firmly in four-star territory), he sits at No. 6 in Wisconsin and among the top small forwards nationally.
On the 247Sports individual scale, he holds an 88 rating. His size, positional versatility, scoring ability, and athleticism have made him a rising name in recruiting circles, particularly after strong showings in AAU play with Team Herro in the Nike EYBL circuit.
