Morgantown, WV – The WVU Baseball team is in the midst of a historic run. After winning the 2025 regular season Big 12 championship, many are expecting them to compete atop the conference again in 2026. This largely due to the roster that Coach Steve Sabins has going into the season.
The nation is now beginning to take notice.
Earlier today, three Mountaineers were named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Preseason All-American Team.
- Chase Meyer (RHP – Jr.) – Second Team
- Ian Korn (RHP – Gr.) – Fourth Team
- Armani Guzman (Utility – Jr.) – Fourth Team
West Virginia is set to begin the 2026 season with a three-game series at Georgia Southern next Friday.
