FORT MYERS, Fla. – Two future Mountaineers showcased their skills at a recent high school tournament in Florida. Five-star point guard Miles Sadler and four-star center Aliou Dioum led their CIA-Bella Vista team to a 21-point victory over Gillion Academy on Sunday.
The City of Palms Classic is a prestigious, annual high school basketball tournament held in Fort Myers. It’s known for showcasing some of the top players in the country. This past weekend, WVU basketball signees Miles Sadler and Aliou Dioum both shined in the event.
Sadler poured in 25 points to lead all scores in the contest. The 5-foot-10 guard also pulled down seven rebounds and dished out four assists. Dioum had a great day of his own. The 6-foot-10 big man scored 12 points. He showed that he’s been working on his outside game by knocking down 4 of 5 from three-point range. CIA-Bella Vista won the third-round game over Gillion by a score of 85-64.
