In a blockbuster addition to their surging 2026 recruiting class, West Virginia has secured the commitment of highly touted offensive tackle Jonas Muya.

The 6-foot-7, 280-pound lineman from Fort Wayne (Ind.) Bishop Luers announced his pledge to Rich Rodriguez and the Mountaineers on Tuesday, choosing WVU over powerhouse programs including Oklahoma, Tennessee, Minnesota, and Purdue.

Ranked as the nation’s No. 36 offensive tackle by Rivals and No. 41 in the Rivals Composite, the three-star prospect brings massive size, athleticism, and toughness to a West Virginia offensive line that’s quickly becoming a strength of the class.
