The University of North Texas has officially announced the hiring of former WVU football coach Neal Brown to the same position. Brown will replace former coach, Eric Morris, who left to take the head coaching job at Oklahoma State.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, North Texas liked Brown’s head coaching experience. “Brown’s vast head coaching experience appealed to the North Texas brass,” said Thamel when posting the news on X (formerly Twitter). “His overall track record of success indicates an ability to keep North Texas’ momentum going.”
