The third injury report for WVU football’s upcoming game against Texas Tech has been released by the Big 12 Conference.
Unfortunately, senior receiver Preston Fox has been downgraded from Questionable to Doubtful for Saturday’s contest.
The Morgantown native may have to miss his final game as a Mountaineer.
It would also be another blow to a WVU offense that has been decimated with injuries. Fox’s absence on special teams may be an even bigger concern. The fifth year senior has been a reliable punt returner all season for Rich Rodriguez’s squad. A role he also played well for two seasons under Neal Brown. Junior Rodney Gallagher will likely fill that role if Fox is unable to play.
Running back Tyler Jacklich has been removed from the report. With multiple running backs already out with injuries, it’s possible he may see significant action on Saturday.
The full report can be seen below.
