MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – One of the best point guards in the 2026 recruiting class has verbally committed to play basketball for WVU.
Miles Sadler, a five-star point guard according to the 247 Sports composite, has chosen the Mountaineers over several major programs including Tennessee, Kansas, Oklahoma, Maryland, and UCLA, among many others.
The 5-foot-10 guard attends Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is rated as the fourth best point guard in the 2026 class by 247 Sports and 41st best player overall in the class. Rivals has him rated even higher as the 23rd best player in the class. They too have him as the fourth best point guard.
Sadler is originally from Ontario, Canada and is a teammate of another current West Virginia commit, Aliou Dioum.
This is the third commit in the 2026 class for Ross Hodge and the Mountaineers. If he signs, he will be the highest rated player to ever sign at WVU, just ahead of Oscar Tshiebwe.
