The Ross Hodge era officially kicks off tonight as West Virginia will open the 2025-26 season at home against Mount St. Mary’s.
West Virginia is expected to start a lineup of Jasper Floyd, Honor Huff, Treysen Eaglestaff, Brenen Loriant and Harlan Obiohah – which is the lineup used in their 80-54 exhibition win over Wheeling University on October 26.
The Mountaineers will be without two key contributors in St. Boneventure transfer Chance Moore, who must sit out the first five game to complete NCAA transfer requirements , and forward Jackson Fields who is still recovering from an offseason hand injury.
The game will tip off at the Hope Coliseum at 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN+.
