The West Virginia Mountaineers (1-1) and the Pitt Panthers (2-0) are scheduled to meet for the 108th time on Saturday for the Backyard Brawl. This will be the last time the two teams meet on the football field until 2029. The recently scheduled four-game addition will start in 2033 at Acrisure Stadium, move to Milan Puskar Stadium in 2034, go back to Pittsburgh in 2035, with the final game of the contract in Morgantown in 2036.
