West Virginia women’s basketball has received a commitment from Class of 2026 forward Kaylin Jackson.
She made the announcement on social media.
Jackson, 6-foot-2, from Denton (Tx.), chose the Mountaineers over scholarship offers from North Alabama, UCF, Louisiana Tech, SMU, and UNLV, among others.
Jackson helped guide Denton Ryan HS to a 58-47 win over San Antonio Wagner in 5A Division 1 state championship game last season.
She finished the title game with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists on her way to being named MVP.
Jackson becomes the first commitment for head coach Mark Kellogg and the Mountaineers in the 2026 recruiting class.
