Morgantown, WV –As West Virginia gears up for the upcoming football season, two standout players, Eddie Vesterinen and Jaden Bray, have been recognized for their resilience and potential to make a remarkable return.
The dynamic duo has been named to the prestigious Comeback Player of the Year Award Watch List, a testament to their determination following season-ending injuries in 2024.
Eddie Vesterinen, a defensive lineman hailing from Helsinki, Finland, has become a symbol of perseverance at WVU. A season-ending injury in 2024 only allowed him to play in two games due to a leg injury.
Wide receiver Jaden Bray, another key figure in WVU’s lineup this season, also earned a spot on the Watch List after overcoming a significant setback. In 2024, Bray played in five games, including a start against Kansas, before a lower leg injury abruptly ended his season.
