The West Virginia men’s basketball team is scheduled to face the Clemson Tigers in the first round of the 2025 Charleston Classic, per CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein. The Mountaineers would then face either Xavier or Georgia.
According to Rothstein an official announcement is expected soon.
This early-season tournament introduces a fresh two-bracket format, pitting eight teams into two concurrent four-team groups. The event will take place on Nov. 21st and 23rd at TD Arena in Charleston, South Carolina.
