Former West Virginia standout JJ Wetherholt continues his dominating performance in Triple-A Memphis.
The St. Louis Cardinals’ top prospect is making a compelling case for a promotion to the major leagues with his latest heroics with the Redbirds.
Wetherholt went 3-for-3, including a towering 435-foot home run in just four innings, further solidifying his reputation as one of the most promising talents in minor league baseball.
His latest performance is a microcosm of his overall dominance in Triple-A. Over 16 games, he has maintained a a staggering .356 batting average and a 1.217 OPS.
