West Virginia junior running back Jahiem White has been named to the Maxwell Award preseason Watch, an award given annually to the most outstanding player in college football.
White is the only Mountaineer to be named on the list, and one of 13 players from the Big 12 Conference.
White led the Mountaineers is rushing last season with 844 yards and seven touchdowns. He has rushed for 1,687 yards on 258 carries and 11 touchdowns in his career.
