Highly touted class of 2026 offensive tackle Da’Ron Parks has announced his return to West Virginia to complete his senior year at Nitro High School (W.Va.).
Parks made the announcement on social media, that he’s returning to the Mountain state for his final year of high school football.
For my sr year of high school, i will be coming back to WV and attending @RecruitNitroHS – Da’Ron Parks.
His move back to West Virginia comes after a brief stint in Florida, where he played for Cardinal Mooney. Before that he played his freshman and sophomore seasons for Hurricane High (W.Va.).
Parks, 6-foot-4, 360-pounds, is rated a four-star prospect and the No. 400 overall recruit in the Rivals Industry Rankings. He now becomes the No. 1 ranked prospect in the state of West Virginia.
West Virginia made a strong push in Parks’ recruitment, making the cut for his final 12 in June. However, he’s since trimmed that list down to three with the Mountaineers being left off and recently committed to Florida State.
Parks has visited Morgantown on numerous occasions throughout the years. And despite the Mountaineers missing out on his commitment, expect them to continue to be aggressive with his move back to West Virginia.
