According to Baseball America’s draft data base tracker, a system that tracks all MLB Draftees as they sign, has updated their tracker to reflect Logan Sauve and the Athletics.
Per Baseball America, the slotted value was work $304,200 which was also what Sauve signed for with the Athletics.
Sauve is now the third Mountaineer of the five players to get drafted to sign his contract.
Kyle West signed with the Yankees for $150,000.
Skylar King signed with the Red Sox for $150,000.
Sauve made 140 career starts and appeared in 151 games, finishing with a .284 batting average, 20 home runs, 29 doubles and 97 RBIs.
