With the 2025 high school football season on the horizon, Prep Redzone West Virginia has delivered a timely gift to fans and scouts alike: the updated 2027 rankings for the state of West Virginia.
Among the 100 rising juniors evaluated, Princeton High School offensive lineman Landyn Moore has emerged as the state’s No. 1 prospect.
This comprehensive ranking highlights the growing talent pool in the Mountain State and showcases Moore’s exceptional potential as a future college football standout.
Moore, 6-foot-5, 290-pounds, received his first D1 offer in June from Marshall, but has received significant interest from a variety of other schools including West Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Indiana, among others after performing at camps during the summer.
Princeton High, under new head coach Nathan Tanner, opens the season on Friday, August 29, at Capital.
Below is an excerpt of what Prep Zone West Virginia had to say about Moore.
2027 Princeton OL Landyn Moore is the early leader for top prospect in the state for his class and was named the #1 overall player and offensive lineman in our debut rankings update for the 2027 class. Moore has all of the gifted size and talent to develop into a future P4 player if he steadily progresses over the next three years.
