PFF recently listed their highest graded Big 12 wide receivers returning for the 2025 season. Among them was WVU Redshirt Sophomore, Cam Vaughn. The Georgia native ended the 2024 season with an overall PFF grade of 81.2. That is the fourth highest grade among all returning wide receivers in the conference.

Vaughn transferred to West Virginia from Jacksonville State during the winter portal window. The 6 foot 2 inch receiver led the Gamecocks in receiving in 2024. He had 48 catches for 803 yards and five touchdowns. A former quarterback, Vaughn earned All-Conference USA Freshman honors last season.
RPM Data Scouting Assistant, Bryan Gauvin, also had high praise for Vaughn. He said the young wide receiver “already shows a veteran-level understanding of how to attack DB leverage.” Gauvin also said that Vaughn is “more polished than most young receivers and looks ready to make some serious noise in Morgantown in 2025.”
West Virginia fans should be fired up about Cam Vaughn (@camvaughn4_) joining the squad.
