New West Virginia running back Tye Edwards is receiving high praise from Pro Football Focus (PFF).
The Northern Iowa transfer is the second-highest graded running back in the Big 12 Conference, earning an 85.2 grade.
The 6-foot-2, 240-pound, running back, carried the ball 157 times for 1,047 yards and six touchdowns last season for NIU. Additionally, Edwards hauled in 13 receptions for 131 yards.
Edwards joins a crowded backfield at West Virginia that includes returners Jahiem White and Diore Hubbard and transfers Jaylan Knighton (SMU) and Kannon Katzer (Ferris State).
