West Virginia baseball has secured a major coup in the transfer portal with the commitment of Ian Korn, the 2024 NCBWA Division II National Pitcher of the Year from Seton Hill University.
The right-handed pitcher, originally from York, Pennslyvania, announced his decision to join the Mountaineers for his final year for his final year of eligibility.

Korn’s 2024-25 season was nothing short of spectacular. He posted an 11-2 record with a 1.81 ERA over 13 starts, allowing just 60 hits in 84.1 innings while striking out 83 batters and issuing only 17 walks.
His season performance earned him First Team All-American honors from the NCBWA, ABCA and D2CCA.
