Dues, who is the younger brother of 2025 WVU wide receiver signee Tyshawn Dues, has obvious strong ties to the Mountaineer program. Growing up in Hurricane, Laron began his football career at Hurricane High School, where he earned All-Mountain State Athletic Conference honors before transferring to Cardinal Mooney in Florida.
Dues is coming off a strong season on the defensive side of ball recording 81 tackles, 5 interceptions, and 25 pass breakups.
