MORGANTOWN, W.Va.– West Virginia University forward Ofri Naveh announced on Instagram on Wednesday afternoon that he is entering the transfer portal.
Naveh redshirted this past season but during the 2023-24 campaign, he averaged 2.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 24 games.
The 6-foot-7, 185-pound redshirt sophomore came to the Mountaineers two summers ago when interim head coach Josh Eilert put together a roster just months before the season began.
Navaeh comes from Israel and prior to his arrival in Morgantown, he competed in the summer of 2023 in FIBA U18 European Championship play. In seven games, he averaged 11.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.0 blocks per game
He has three years of eligibility remaining.
